Located at 40.5° West, NSS 806 transmits more than 120 leading Spanish and Portuguese-language channels, reaching approximately 13.5 million homes and 3,500 cable head-ends across South and Central America.
Television stations and video channels from Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Columbia, Peru, Bolivia and the United States, as well as other regional services and international channels, use this satellite extensively to reach cable, MMDS and other Downlink points at C-band using antennas as small as 1.8 meters.
With this platform, IP providers, broadcasters and data suppliers can get their content from Asia to South America and from the Middle East to North America in one hop, allowing simple and reasonably priced access to different continents.
